Adverton ("Adverton," "we," "us," "our") is operated by MDS LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its registered office at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect the information of visitors to adverton.net and prospective and paying clients of our services.

By visiting our website or submitting information through our forms, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact information — name, email, phone, business name, trade, annual revenue range, and your message — submitted via our contact form or sales inquiries.
• Account information — for paying clients: legal business name, EIN, license details, owner contact, billing address, and other onboarding data required to deliver services.
• Payment information — handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number; Stripe stores tokenized payment instruments in compliance with PCI-DSS.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — IP address, browser, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, gathered via Google Analytics or similar tools.
• Cookies — small text files used for session management, analytics, and marketing attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not function fully without them.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call, and present a proposal.
• To deliver, operate, and improve the services you've contracted with us (website build, ad management, CRM provisioning, etc.).
• To send transactional communications (invoices, service updates, monthly reports).
• To send marketing emails about Adverton features and services. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
• To analyze website performance and improve conversion paths.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share your information

We share information only with parties necessary to operate Adverton and only under written contracts that bind them to confidentiality and security obligations:

• Service providers — Stripe (payments), Google (Ads, GBP, Analytics), CallRail (call tracking), Twilio (SMS and voice messaging), our CRM platform (operated by MDS LLC), Formspree or similar (form submissions), email and CRM tools used by our sales team.
• Legal obligations — when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
• Business transfers — if MDS LLC is sold, merged, or otherwise transfers ownership, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and provide options for opting out where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

SMS & text messaging

For paying clients, we operate an SMS program on the client's behalf using a dedicated business phone number. A client's own customers may receive: an automatic reply when they call the business and the call isn't answered; a one-time request (with one reminder) to leave a review after a completed job; and two-way replies from the business. Business owners and their authorized staff also receive text notifications of new leads and secure account login links. These messages are sent only to people the business already has a relationship with — they contacted the business, were served by it, or are the business's own staff.

Consent & opt-out. By providing your mobile number you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from the business via Adverton. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

SMS opt-in and phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.

The above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers and message content are processed by Twilio, our SMS provider, solely to deliver this program.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. After termination, we retain records for up to 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize the data.

5. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information — encryption in transit, access controls, vendor due diligence, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to minimize risk.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law:

• U.S. residents (CCPA / state privacy laws) — right to know what we collect, request deletion, opt out of "sales" (we don't sell), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
• EU/UK residents (GDPR) — right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. Our lawful bases for processing are contract performance, legitimate interest, and consent (for marketing).

8. Children's privacy

Adverton is a B2B service for licensed home service contractors. Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through our site, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients and posted on this page.
